This works by a fine, but strong layer of carrier film outlining the transfer area sometimes referred to as spot filmed. This makes it both easy to apply (as no need to cut round the decal) but also with the use of Micro Set and Micro Sol soften the carrier and allow the transfer to blend into the model leaving a seamless transition between transfer and model.
