Cobra Primer is an alternative product to the 3M Primer 94. Liquid adhesive primer for demanding applications. Aids and strengthens adhesive on vehicle wraps and VHB double-tapes • Use to improve vinyl adhesion where the vinyl will be stretched or heated into concave areas • Great for use on complex vehicle contours • Works with all brands of vinyl • Also great for paint-primed surfaces, low-energy plastics, and practically any surface that is difficult to get vinyl adhesive to adhere to • Tape Primer can be used to promote the adhesion of tapes to surfaces such as PE, PP, ABS, PC, PBT/PET, Glass, metal and painted surfaces. It is easy to be applied. Warning: Tape Primer can increase the possibility of damage to paint when vinyl is removed because it increases adhesion. It is very important to consider this possibility before application. Application: Shake the Tape Primer well before using. Apply a thin, sparing amount of the primer to both parts of your materials using a foam printer swab. Allow the primer to dry thoroughly before applying tape(5 mins at room temperature). Be sure the primed surfaces remain clean before applying the tape.
